The first new show of the season is Cancelled by NBC
What’s to come isn’t so bright for NBC’s satire “Sunnyside.” Though we are just a month into the new fall system season, NBC’s worker parody, “Sunnyside” has been pulled from the communicated timetable. The eleventh and last period of “Will and Grace” will have its spot on Thursday evenings starting on October 24.
The rest of the scenes of “Sunnyside” will move on the web, to NBC.com and the NBC application. There won’t be a subsequent season, yet NBC ordered an additional scene, bringing the season up to 11 scenes, up from the first request of 10 scenes.
“Sunnyside” which stars Kal Penn as a disrespected New York councilman who enables a gathering of settlers to get ready for their citizenship test, appeared as the least-observed new arrangement this fall. After at first appearing to 1.77 million watchers and a .40 demo rating, it slipped to 1.18 million and a .30 demo by its third scene.
In better news for first year recruit arrangement, Fox gave wrongdoing show “Reckless Son” an entire 22-scene request up from 13 scenes. It is anything but an official restoration for the Tom Payne-helmed arrangement, yet it looks good for its odds for a subsequent season.
